My name is KateLynn and I am a yoga teacher.

I believe the practice of yoga should be accessible to everyone, regardless of class, gender, age , or health. It serves to help bridge the mind-body connection that is so necessary. Yoga is much more than the asanas, the physical practice, with a focus on the breath and maintaining a connection to the present moment within our minds and our spirits.

I became a 200-hour certified yoga teacher in January 2016 in Costa Rica through Marianne Wells Yoga School, a Yoga Alliance accredited school, to share the joy I’ve found in yoga with others. In early 2020 I completed the first 100 hours toward my advanced 300-hour training studies with Marianne. Since completing my 200-hour, I have studied the power and intricacies of hands on touch and Thai Body Massage, which I feel go hand in hand. I am also CPR certified and earned my BA in Communications and Art in 2015 from California State University, Fullerton.

My yoga journey began after a tough breakup; I wanted something that I could commit to that would make me happy and serve to help me both on and off my mat. Before yoga became an important part of my daily life, I wasn’t necessarily a negative person, but since beginning my yoga journey I feel so much happier. Little things no longer ruin my day, I feel less anxiety, and I don’t find myself in bed losing sleep thinking about all of the bad things that have happened. I am able, to the best of my current ability, to anchor myself in the present moment.

I’d like to help bring you into this moment, for this moment is all that you have and it is beautiful.
